This position offers a night shift schedule with guaranteed weekly hours on a contract basis.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:
Current RN license eligible or active in Missouri Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department/trauma nursing experience Required certifications:
BLS, ACLS, PALS (American Heart Association); NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS); Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Proven ability to manage patient care ratios of approximately 1:

Deliver comprehensive direct patient care to a broad range of age groups, including trauma and post-surgical cases Apply nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in alignment with established standards, policies, and Missouri Nurse Practice Act Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and comfort Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold patient rights Adapt to physical demands of the role, including bending, lifting, and prolonged standing or walking Comply with infection control and safety protocols consistent with trauma center standards Additional Role Details:
Night shift hours:
18000600 Weekly hours guaranteed at 36 or 48 (must specify on submission) Assignment length of 13 weeks Orientation on day shift, full availability required during orientation week Approximately one weekend every three weeks required No on-call responsibilities This position requires compliance with flu vaccination or approved exemptions during flu season.
