Schedule/Hours: • 12-hour night shifts • Rotating weekends • Varying day shifts as needed to meet department demands Responsibilities: • Assume responsibility for care of assigned patients in the Emergency Room • Administer treatments and medications as delegated • Monitor patient status and communicate changes to the healthcare team • Document care provided with accuracy and attention to detail • Respond effectively to emergencies following hospital protocols • Maintain regulatory and safety compliance at all times Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (no prior experience required) • Current Illinois RN licensure • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required) • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification (required) • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification (required) • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification preferred This is a contract position ideal for registered nurses specializing in Emergency Room care who are eager to take on a vital role within the hospital.
