Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience; first-time ER nurses will not be considered. • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke, and PALS required. • Proficient with Epic electronic health record system and Pyxis medication dispensing systems. • Experience in a high-volume, non-trauma emergency department preferred. • Ability to manage complex cases including stroke and STEMI patients. • Comfortable maintaining a patient ratio of 1:4 in a 59-bed ER averaging 165-175 patients daily. Responsibilities: • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to a diverse emergency patient population from adolescents to geriatrics. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, stroke and STEMI-certified setting. • Adhere to documented policies, age-specific care protocols, and emergency department standards. • Participate in clinical screenings to confirm clinical fit prior to placement. • Work a schedule consisting of 3 twelve-hour day shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) with every other weekend coverage. • Commitment to work major holidays during the assignment period as required.
