Provide expert care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting located in Healdsburg, CA. This role centers on delivering comprehensive nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to meet patients’ physical, psychosocial, safety, rehabilitative, and educational needs. Collaborate closely with fellow nurses, physicians, and allied health professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You will manage the care of assigned patients and guide ancillary staff activities to maintain a high standard of service. Qualifications & Desired Experience: • Active RN license with Emergency Room experience • Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills • Ability to work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team Responsibilities: • Provide direct nursing care using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care • Manage assigned patient caseload and direct ancillary staff efforts • Collaborate with physicians and support services for comprehensive care delivery • Maintain accurate and timely documentation consistent with regulatory standards • Participate in weekend rotations; no on-call requirements Schedule: • Night shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) This contract opportunity offers a chance to advance your emergency nursing career while living in a beautiful Northern California community.
