Registered Nurse ER | Los Alamos, New Mexico in Los Alamos, NM

A registered nurse with Emergency Room expertise is needed for a contract assignment at a 47-bed acute care facility serving Northern New Mexico. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting within a respected medical center known for comprehensive services and a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

Location: Los Alamos, New Mexico

Responsibilities:
• Provide efficient and compassionate care to emergency patients
• Perform initial assessments, triage, and ongoing monitoring
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all healthcare regulations
• Ensure compliance with state-specific requirements, including fingerprint background checks and certification verification

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
• Active RN licensure with Emergency Room experience
• Required certifications available at the time of application (as per New Mexico state and facility requirements)
• Ability to pass New Mexico fingerprinting and background check processes (14-day supervised waiver while awaiting results)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Schedule:
• Orientation held weekly on Mondays
• Flexible scheduling to meet facility needs

This assignment is ideal for RNs willing to travel, and candidates must be located at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify as travel staff.
