Registered Nurse ER | Milan, Missouri in Milan, MO

Provide expert nursing care in a dynamic Emergency Room setting at a well-established healthcare facility. This contract position offers an opportunity to work with a dedicated team managing an average daily census of 16-18 patients across 7 rooms/beds, delivering critical care in an environment that values skill and compassion.

Location: Milan, MO

Experience Requirements: Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; first-time ER nurses are welcome.

Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Schedule:
• Night shifts, 3x 12-hour shifts (18:45 - 07:15)
• Weekend commitment: 8 shifts over a six-week schedule period, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Holiday rotations and Charge RN assignments as needed

Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive ER nursing care for a patient census averaging 16-18 daily visits
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams using Epic electronic health records for efficient patient management
• Perform floating duties within nursing scope across departments, units, and facilities to support patient care needs
• Uphold high standards of care while maintaining safety and through effective communication

Desired Experience and Qualifications:
• Active RN license with at least one year of clinical nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Comfortable with fast-paced ER environment and flexible in floating assignments
• Able to adhere to hospital dress code (Navy scrubs)
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to qualify for this engagement
• No pending licenses accepted
