An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse skilled in Emergency Room and acute care nursing. This role requires an RN who can confidently triage patients in the ER and manage responsibilities as the sole night shift RN, overseeing the ER and serving as house supervisor for the long-term care (LTC) nursing staff. Key responsibilities include: • Triage and care for ER patients during night shifts • Supervise LTC nurse and CNA staff while assisting with LTC patient care, including rounds and toileting • Collaborate as a supportive team member to ensure smooth operation across ER and LTC units • Provide acute care nursing in a rural critical access hospital setting Qualifications and desired experience: • Valid RN license with current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification required • TNCC certification preferred • Previous experience in ER nursing with strong triage skills • Ability to work independently and confidently during night shifts • Strong teamwork and communication skills vital for working within a small rural hospital team Location: This contract position is located in a charming small-town setting of central Montana, rich with western heritage and outdoor recreational activities.
