Job Description Job Title Registered Nurse - ER Job Summary Travel Registered Nurse needed for a 13-week assignment in the Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Level I Emergency Department setting and possess strong clinical skills. CERNER experience is required. Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department. • Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans. • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team. • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. • Respond to emergencies and provide immediate medical assistance. • Document patient care accurately and efficiently in CERNER. • Float within scope to meet facility needs. Required Qualifications • Minimum of 2 years of ER experience. • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or compact state. License in hand required with submission. • ACLS and PALS certifications required. • CERNER experience required. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in a Level I Trauma Center. • Travel nursing experience. Skills & Competencies • Excellent clinical assessment skills. • Proficiency in medication administration. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Knowledge of emergency medical procedures. • Competent in using CERNER. Shift Details • Mid Shift: 3x12-Hour (15:00 - 03:00) • 36 hours per week guaranteed. • Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per schedule period (4 weeks) Licensing Requirements • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or compact state.
