An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with Emergency Room and acute care expertise in White Sulphur Springs, MT. This contract position is based at a small rural Critical Access Hospital, where the RN will play a vital role as the sole night shift nurse responsible for managing the Emergency Room and serving as house supervisor for the long-term care (LTC) team. Responsibilities: • Triage and care for emergency patients in a low-volume ER setting (typically 1-2 patients per shift) • Oversee LTC nursing staff, including licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and certified nursing assistants (CNAs) • Assist with LTC duties such as rounds and toileting overnight • Collaborate closely with a small team to provide comprehensive patient care across the hospitals services Qualifications: • Current RN license with emergency room and acute care experience • ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required; TNCC preferred • Ability to work independently and take charge during night shifts • Strong team orientation and willingness to support colleagues in LTC • Proven capability to manage patient triage and emergency nursing responsibilities confidently Location Highlights: White Sulphur Springs offers a unique small-town charm infused with western heritage.
