A registered nurse with Emergency Room expertise is needed on a contract basis in Window Rock, AZ, supporting a busy emergency department within a well-equipped medical center. This role involves working across multiple emergency care areas, including an 11-bed Main ED, 6-bed Fast Track, and 7-bed Observation Unit. Nurses regularly rotate through these units, and shifts may require flexibility to cover day or mid-shift hours based on patient volume and staffing needs. You may also assist in triage, quick registration, COVID screening, testing, and immunization clinics. Floating to other departments is expected when qualified, with duties ranging from patient care to support tasks. Qualifications and Experience: • Minimum of two years recent RN experience in emergency nursing; additional experience may be preferred • American Heart Association certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC • Conscious sedation certification (facility-provided upon hire) • Ability to adapt to shifting assignments and work collaboratively in a dynamic clinical environment Schedule: • Primarily day shifts (7 a.m. to 7 p.m.) • Typically 7 days on/7 days off rotation, with 36 to 48 hours worked alternating weekly • Shift flexibility required to meet department needs Window Rock, AZ offers a unique cultural experience nestled within the scenic beauty of the region.
