Position Summary:
As a Registered Nurse in the Family Birthing Center, you will utilize the nursing process to provide high-quality patient-centered care. Your role will include:
• Coordinating patient care by collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
• Effectively communicating patient clinical conditions and responding promptly to any changes or treatment responses.
• Applying knowledge of growth and development principles to deliver age-appropriate care.
• Promoting the nursing profession through supportive and collegial interactions.

You will report directly to the Clinical Nurse Manager.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:
To qualify, you must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with a valid nursing license in the State of Connecticut. Additionally, you need to have Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications upon hire, or you must obtain these certifications within the introductory orientation period and maintain your clinical competency throughout your employment.
