Job Summary and Qualifications
• Utilize aseptic techniques to establish and maintain a sterile field.
• Prepare necessary equipment and supplies based on the needs of patients and physicians.
• Assist surgeons competently within the defined scope of care.
• Practice perioperative nursing efficiently during preoperative and postoperative phases.
• Focus on cost-effective delivery of high-quality patient care in operating rooms.
• Participate in on-call assignments and show flexibility in staffing coverage.
• Adapt to perform varied functions within Surgical Services to ensure department efficiency.
Requirements:
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification is required within 30 days of starting employment.
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification is necessary.
• Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA) qualification preferred.
• A valid Registered Nurse license is required.
