
Registered Nurse - Float Pool in Harrison, MT
Job Description
Position: Registered Nurse - Float Pool - Days
Location: Harrison
The Staff Pad has partnered with a client in Montana who has a vision to be the gold standard for Healthcare. We are looking for Registered Nurses who are open to floating between different units. Full time Day shifts are available.
Responsibilities:
• Demonstrates knowledge of the nursing process as a standard, incorporating elements of holistic family-centered care through the collection, verification and organization of data about a patient’s health status, planning for care, implementation of the plan and evaluation.
• Provides direct patient care in the clinical setting under the direction of the Unit Director and Manager, and the Charge Nurse.
• Performs detailed and accurate assessments of patients and completes documentation in a timely and accurate manner according to hospital policy and regulatory requirements.
• Works well with other departments, peers, co-workers, and physicians in a teamwork environment.
• Must orient and remain competent in Behavioral Health Unit, Clinical Decision Unit and either Intensive Care Unit as the second RN or Women’s and Children’s (Couplet Care and Pediatric Psych).
Qualifications:
• Two years or greater acute care RN experience to demonstrate ability to accept responsibility as a Float staff/Patient Care Services RN (job specific).
• Graduate of professional school of nursing required.
• Current Montana License as a Registered Nurse required.
• BLS and ACLS (within 6 months of hire) certification required.
• Certification in Med/Surg and/or Geriatric Nursing preferred.
