Position Summary:
As a Registered Nurse, you will leverage the nursing process to deliver exceptional patient-centered care, both directly and indirectly. You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate effective patient care, promptly and accurately communicating any changes in patient condition or response to treatment. Your understanding of growth and development principles will enable you to provide age-appropriate care to the individuals we serve. In this role, you will help advance the nursing profession through supportive interactions with colleagues, reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager.
Qualifications
Education/Certification:
• Graduation from an accredited nursing school and a current RN license in the State of Connecticut.
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support is required upon hire or must be obtained during the introductory orientation period. You will be expected to maintain clinical competency throughout your employment with Hartford HealthCare.
Competencies:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Basic computer proficiency is necessary.
