Term: 6 Months, with potential for extension Division: Corrections Your Responsibilities: • Create and implement comprehensive nursing care plans, administer medications, and support preventative healthcare efforts in alignment with physician directives. • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care, assist in medical procedures, and engage in treatment planning and assessment. • Conduct thorough patient evaluations, monitor their progress closely, and ensure accurate documentation of all care procedures and educational initiatives in medical records. • Maintain a safe and therapeutic atmosphere for patients and staff, ensuring patient privacy and promoting safety and quality in care delivery. Additional Duties: • Build professional relationships with the administrative team and actively contribute to a positive workplace culture. • Ensure precise documentation of patient care, including progress notes and discharge summaries, meeting high standards for accuracy and promptness. • Perform clinical tasks such as IV access, vital sign monitoring, and respond effectively to patient treatment needs. • Engage in ongoing education and participate in meetings to stay abreast of clinic policies and healthcare advancements. Qualifications: • At least one year of recent, continuous experience in a relevant healthcare setting, excluding internships, with all clinical skills updated. • Candidates specializing in areas like Emergency, Inpatient Care, or Obstetrics must have a minimum of one year of focused experience and relevant certifications. • Fluency in English and excellent communication skills are essential for effective interactions within the Corrections Facility.
