Type of Opportunity: Full-time FTE: 0.9 Job Exempt: No Work Shift: 12 Hour Nights (United States of America) Key Responsibilities: • Deliver direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual needs and responses. • Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care. • Perform thorough assessments per unit standards and maintain accurate documentation. • Utilize appropriate protocols and standards of care consistently. • Administer medications and treatments as directed by physicians or per standard protocols, documenting all actions accordingly. • Identify and address patient and family educational needs from admission throughout care. • Evaluate patient progression towards outcomes in accordance with unit standards. • Act confidently during emergency situations. • Delegate or assign patient care tasks based on competency levels of the healthcare team. • Provide clinical supervision for LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel. • Foster leadership through effective communication regarding patient care. • Assist with various procedures, treatments, or surgical techniques as appropriate. • Complete all required education and competency testing specific to the patient population and unit protocols. Qualifications: • Minimum ADN (Associate Degree in Nursing) required. • Two years of nursing experience is essential. Must possess a State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License. • For Emergency Departments: Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required. • Preferred: Specialty certifications relevant to the area of practice. Education: • Associate Degree required. Credentials: • Registered Nurse in New Mexico. • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required. Focusing on Your Well-Being!
