Job Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in providing tailored nursing care to residents by utilizing the nursing process which includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will collaborate with residents, families, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal care delivery. With a focus on all phases of preventative care and health maintenance, you will coordinate resident assessments, education, and various nursing interventions effectively. Your responsibilities will include acting as a charge nurse when required and delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel based on their competencies and the needs of residents. You will offer guidance and support to ensure high-quality care is delivered. This is an opportunity to practice within the full scope of nursing standards established by the Nurse Practice Act and relevant regulations. Qualifications • Graduation from an accredited nursing program is preferred, such as CCNE or ACEN. • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is highly desired. • Currently hold a valid and unrestricted RN license from the State Board of Nursing or possess multistate licensure if applicable. • Maintain necessary departmental competencies and certifications.
