Job Summary and Qualifications As a Registered Nurse in the Neuro Care Unit, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with department standards and various nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." You will collaborate with healthcare providers and advocate for patients and families, ensuring a top-tier experience and achieving positive clinical outcomes. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct admissions assessments and monitor shifts, quickly addressing any changes in patient conditions. • Administer treatments and medications as per medical directives, ensuring accurate and timely documentation. • Provide exceptional care by responding to patient needs and proactively anticipating their requirements. • Educate patients and their families on medical conditions, treatment plans, and medications to ensure understanding and compliance. Qualifications: • Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred. • Possess a current Virginia RN license or compact multistate license. • Minimum of one year of experience as a staff nurse in a Telemetry or Critical Care Unit. • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
