Position: Center Medical Specialist

Your Role:
• Conduct physical examinations and gather medical histories to assess donor eligibility.
• Build rapport with donors to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintain confidentiality for both donors and staff.
• Educate donors on health topics and manage any adverse reactions.
• Coordinate and assist in training other employees.
Qualifications:
Current certification as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Licensed Vocational Nurse as per state regulations, along with a high school diploma or GED. Current CPR certification is required.
Key Attributes:
• Ability to perform both standing and sitting tasks, with movement requiring bending, twisting, and light lifting (up to 50 lbs).
• Strong communication skills to convey information effectively.
• Capability to adapt to changing conditions and perform a variety of tasks independently.
• Must be prepared to handle exposure to biological materials and work in environments with temperature variations.
