JOB DESCRIPTION- Registered Nurse - Free-Standing Emergency Room RN - FSED Full-Time Registered Nurse Free-Standing Emergency Room candidates will have the following job responsibilities : • Triage assess and treat patients of all ages • Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation • Develop plans that prescribe strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes. • Manage multiple cases simultaneously providing general nursing care and prioritizing needs continually • You will provide follow up care instructions to patients and make necessary referrals • You must coordinate functions with physicians and other departments of the hospital while being patient focused and safety aware at all times JOB QUALIFICATIONS- Registered Nurse - Free-Standing Emergency Room RN - FSED Full-Time Registered Nurse Free-Standing Emergency Room candidates must meet the following minimum job qualifications : • 1 year of Recent Med / Surg PCU ICU or ED acute care experience Required • Florida RN license and / or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation. • Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date • Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date • PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date • Trauma Nursing Core Course or TNCC Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date Key Skills EMR Systems,Hospital Experience,Acute Care,ICU Experience,Hospice Care,Workers' Compensation Law,Home Care,Nursing,Catheterization,Critical Care Experience,Medication Administration,Tube Feeding Employment Type : Full Time Experience : years Vacancy : 1
