Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a vital role in providing individualized nursing care to residents through the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues, including healthcare providers, to ensure a comprehensive approach to care.

As an RN, you will:
• Provide care for residents throughout all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Coordinate resident assessments, education, and various nursing interventions.
• Potentially serve as charge nurse, delegating appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel based on their skills and the residents' needs.
• Demonstrate competency within the scope of nursing practice as outlined by the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules.

You will uphold the standards of professional nursing practice and adhere to the Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements by the American Nurses Association.

Qualifications

You are encouraged to apply if you meet the following criteria:
• Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program (preferred).
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Current unencumbered RN license with the state Board of Nursing in your practice area, or possession of multistate licensure if applicable.
• Commitment to maintaining required competencies and certifications.
