Highlights of Your Role: As a Dialysis RN, you will work with a team to provide care for patients receiving dialysis treatment. Our facility features 16 station chairs and one isolation station. Your responsibilities will include initiating and terminating dialysis, accessing patient labs, and coordinating comprehensive care plans. Schedule: Enjoy a balanced work life with three 10-hour shifts per week, with no Sunday shifts, one weekend every three weeks, and holiday rotations, all with no required travel. Preferred Qualifications: We are particularly interested in candidates with Med/Surg, Dialysis, or ICU experience. Job Responsibilities: • Provide direct nursing care, assessing and attending to the complex needs of dialysis patients. • Supervise and support nursing staff in providing high-quality patient care. • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to drive positive patient outcomes. • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and comply with regulatory standards. • Manage patient care needs and address any complaints through established procedures. • Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of dialysis equipment. • Educate patients on their medical conditions and treatment plans. • Contribute to staff development by assisting in training and evaluation. • Adhere to infection control protocols vigorously. • Engage actively in continued learning and evidence-based practice. Requirements: • Graduate from an accredited nursing program. • Minimum of one year of registered nurse experience. • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in your state of practice. Physical Requirements: • Ability to communicate clearly, stand, walk, and lift patients and equipment. • Competent in assessing and responding to environmental and patient needs.
