This is your opportunity to become a key leader in patient care as a Registered Nurse in our ICU. Your role will involve utilizing the nursing process to provide high-quality patient care while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. You will effectively delegate, direct, and support your nursing team, ensuring accountability for optimal patient outcomes while demonstrating respect for diverse backgrounds. Key Responsibilities include: • Using the nursing process effectively in patient care delivery. • Identifying learning needs and teaching strategies for patients and families. • Communicating and managing resources within the nursing team. • Promoting data-driven changes to achieve better health outcomes. • Enhancing customer satisfaction and staff morale. • Adapting communications to suit diverse patient populations. • Performing additional duties as assigned. Education Requirements: • Required: Registered nurse diploma. • Preferred: Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing. Experience Required: • No prior experience required. Certifications: • Required: Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. • Preferred: Certification in a clinical specialty area. Essential Skills: • Proficiency with computer systems and software. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent interpersonal skills. • Effective organizational and time management skills. • Ability to exercise good judgment. This position requires the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally.
