• Regular rounding sessions with unit leaders to discuss care improvements and workflow optimization.
• On-call responsibilities required during select non-business hours.

Your Responsibilities:
• Assess patients prior to surgical procedures.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and peri-operative care.
• Handle patient preparation including IV therapy, administering preoperative medications, and verifying surgical sites.
• Participate in safety protocols including surgical time outs and debriefings.
• Respond effectively to patient emergencies.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while adhering to evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with a diverse interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize critical thinking and technical skills to ensure safe nursing care.
• Monitor patient conditions and document changes accurately.
• Provide comprehensive education to patients and caregivers about conditions and treatments.

Qualifications:
• Current RN license required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Registered Nurse Diploma required.
