Position: Registered Nurse - Geriatric Psych - FT - Day/Eve - Sharon Location: Sharon Nuvance Health has a network of convenient hospital and outpatient locations – Danbury Hospital, New Milford Hospital, Norwalk Hospital and Sharon Hospital in Connecticut, and Northern Dutchess Hospital, Putnam Hospital Center and Vassar Brothers Medical Center in New York – plus multiple primary and specialty care physician practices locations, including The Heart Center, a leading provider of cardiology care, and two urgent care offices. Non-acute care is offered through various affiliates, including the Thompson House for rehabilitation and skilled nursing services, and the Home Care organizations. 60K Sign On Bonus! (for eligible candidates only) Required: Sign-On Bonus for external candidates with minimum of 1-year current RN Acute Care experience. Internal candidates who transfer to bonus eligible positions do not qualify. Bonus paid over a three year period of continuous full time employment. Standard Hours: 36 hrs. Work shift: 6:45am - 7:15pm, every other weekend. Purpose The Registered Nurse executes comprehensive nursing care activities and provides nursing staff leadership. He/she assesses patient needs, plans and implements patient care activities, and evaluates the patient’s response to treatment. He/she manages activities within the therapeutic milieu and directs the delivery of nursing care by other members of the nursing treatment team. Population served is based on scope of services in the department.
