JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary of Performance Expectations:

Accountable for the coordination and provision of professional nursing care appropriate to the age of the patient using the nursing process.Collaborates with other health care professionals and agencies to meet the needs of our customers.

Required

Education & Credentials:
• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Current NC RN license or licensure from Nursing Compact State.
• BCLS certification.If the BCLS certification is not from the American Heart Association (AHA), an AHA certification is required within three months of employment date.
• ACLS and PALS within three months of employment date.

Preferred

BSN, specialty certification in area of practice.

Required

Work Experience:

Six months of cardiac monitoring. Departmental Competencies. Incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job and able to assume call responsibilities within six months of employment date.

Previous experience in Emergency Department or Critical Care
