Your role as a Registered Nurse will be instrumental in implementing our professional practice model, emphasizing autonomy, accountability, and evidence-based practices that center on the patient and their family.
Responsibilities
• Standards of Practice: Implement nursing care guided by assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, coordination, health teaching, and evaluation.
• Standards of Professional Performance: Engage in ethical practice, effective communication, cultural congruence, collaboration, leadership, education, and evidence-based practices to enhance quality care.
Qualifications
Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing school, with a BSN preferred. Current BCLS certification required within one month of hire.
Experience: A foundational role for all RNs, with encouragement to advance through the SPIRE clinical advancement program.
Licensure: Must hold current RN license in the State of Connecticut. Clinical specialty certification is highly encouraged.
Physical Demand: The role requires prolonged standing, walking, and the ability to assist patients weighing from five to three hundred pounds. Expect exposure to various health conditions, including infectious diseases and end-of-life situations, in a fast-paced environment.
