Responsibilities include: • Perform ongoing assessments of each patient’s biopsychosocial needs • Develop initial nursing plan of care • Perform charge nurse duties • Apply interventions identified in the treatment plan and document all nursing care • Facilitate and co-facilitate group programming • Interact respectfully with all patients while maintaining professional boundaries • Provide input on patients’ progress and recommend any changes to the treatment plan • Participate in discharge planning with the patient and other team members Anoka Metro Regional Treatment Center is a secure inpatient psychiatric hospital serving adults with mental illness in a large, campus-based setting. The population also includes individuals civilly committed for specialized care, such as competency for criminal court (Rule 20), emergency 48-hour bed holds, and co-occurring mental illness/chemical dependency. The employee will perform ECT duties, venipuncture for labs, support clinical needs, and schedule medical appointments. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications • Possess or be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse in Minnesota. Future Registered Nurses who are within six (6) months of graduating and taking their NCLEX-RN are encouraged to apply.
