Roles & Responsibilities • Lead and coordinate patient care as the charge nurse across mixed ICU populations • Provide high-acuity critical care for MICU, SICU, TICU and CVICU patients • Manage advanced therapies including CRRT, IABP, Impella and ventilator support • Safely titrate critical drips (pressors, sedation, paralytics, antiarrhythmics, heparin, insulin) • Interpret telemetry and independently manage cardiac monitoring without tech support • Respond to codes and rapid responses and provide calm, decisive leadership • Float between units and sister facilities as needed to ensure excellent patient care • Document accurately and efficiently in EPIC and participate in unit communication Qualifications • Active RN license eligible for submission in Colorado • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience plus prior charge nurse experience • If you are a first-time travel nurse: 3+ years of ICU experience and EPIC experience required • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC • Comfortable titrating critical drips and managing advanced ventilator modalities • Prior travel experience preferred but not required Education • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) • BSN not required but may be preferred Knowledge & Skills • Proven critical care nursing skills: CRRT, IABP, Impella management • Ventilator management including vents, CPAP, BiPAP and high flow • Telemetry interpretation and independent rhythm recognition • Titration of critical drips and familiarity with common ICU medication infusions • Charge nurse leadership, triage and team coordination • EPIC charting and clinical documentation best practices • Ability to float across acuity levels and adapt to varying unit workflows Benefits • Supportive team environment where your critical care skills are valued • Week of in-state orientation with a preceptor to get you confident and comfortable • Guaranteed 36 hours per week to help you plan your life outside of work • Opportunities to expand your ICU skill set — CRRT, IABP, Impella, advanced ventilator management • Flexible scheduling within 6-week blocks so you can balance work and play • Travel support and resources to help with logistics and getting settled • Professional growth: lead as a charge nurse and gain leadership experience • Work with EPIC charting — great for building marketable documentation skills Travel Perks: Explore Centennial, CO Centennial sits in the Denver metro with quick access to outdoor adventures and city life.
