Registered Nurse, ICU Cardiovascular - On-Demand in Starks, LA

Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse in ICU Cardiovascular!

We are looking for a dedicated Nurse who excels in both routine and complex care within a fast-paced clinical environment. If you have a passion for patient care and a commitment to excellence, we want you on our team!

Key Responsibilities:
• Embody the OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Deliver nursing care in accordance with the ANA Scope and Standards, utilizing the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Support patients and their families by addressing complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.
• Administer medications and treatments following protocols, monitoring for side effects and treatment effectiveness.
• Document patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.
• Identify learning needs and equip patients and caregivers with necessary education and resources.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in a critical care setting is preferred, but we welcome new graduates as well.

License and Certification Requirements:
• BLS certification required.
• Current RN License in the state of employment or compact.
• ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Onboarding Requirements:
• Attendance at New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire.
• Preceptorship with a trained staff member and successful completion of designated competency validations.
• Complete annual competency verification requirements.

Work Schedule:
PRN (Per Diem As Needed)
