Registered Nurse - ICU General Care in High Rolls, NM

Overview: Join our dynamic nursing team as a Registered Nurse in ICU General Care, where you will provide both routine and complex care in a fast-paced clinical environment. Key Responsibilities: • Demonstrate leadership qualities aligning with the OneCHRISTUS Competencies, including Leadership of Self, Others, or Leaders. • Provide holistic nursing care following the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, through assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. • Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families, providing care tailored to individual needs. • Administer medications and treatments as per protocols, vigilantly monitoring for side effects and effectiveness. • Document comprehensive patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately. • Assess the learning needs of patients and families, providing educational resources and identifying support options. Qualifications: • Education: A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred. • Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in a critical care setting is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply. • Licenses/Certifications: Current BLS required; RN License in state of employment or compact; Current ACLS certification required. Onboarding Requirements: • All newly hired experienced RNs are required to complete New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire. • New hires will be precepted by a trained staff member, ensuring a smooth transition into the role. • Completion of annual competency verification is mandatory. Work Schedule: This position requires full-time availability from 7AM to 7PM. Location: Work will be performed at the designated facility. Specific address will be provided upon hire.
