Job Summary and Qualifications
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care tailored to the unique needs of our ICU patients, aligning with established nursing practices and standards. Collaborate effectively with medical staff and the care team to deliver individualized, compassionate care using the nursing models: Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage. As an advocate for patients and their families, you embody our organizational values to enhance the patient experience and contribute positively to clinical outcomes.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, and other duties as directed by medical providers, ensuring timely documentation of care in patient records.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care details in an understandable way.
• Guide patients and families on non-medical follow-up, including healthy lifestyle changes, prevention, and self-management strategies.
• Implement evidence-based practices and engage in continuous improvement initiatives to exceed quality care standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to customize and deliver a holistic treatment plan that supports patient recovery.
Qualifications:
• Experience in ICU nursing is preferred.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Colorado or multistate.
• Associate Degree or Registered Nurse Diploma.
