Job Description

The registered nurse is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for the Emergency Department patient and provides age-specific care to those patients. Accurately performs assessment and data collection in an ongoing and systematic manner. Prioritizes patient care based on nursing diagnosis and patient outcomes. Implements care in a knowledgeable, skillful, consistent and continuous manner. Functions to establish priorities of patient care based on essential patient needs, and available unit resources of time, personnel, equipment, and supplies. Position Qualifications Education Must be a graduate from a state accredited Registered Nurse School of Nursing. Experience: One year of nursing experience preferred. Must possess good written and oral communication skills. Licenses/Certificates: A current Registered Nurse nursing license in the State of Alabamarequired. Current CPR certification required, which can be obtained during the first week of orientation. ACLS certification within 6 months of employment required. Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $1,391.88 - $1,676.25 per week Work Location: In person
