As a Registered Nurse, your key responsibilities will include:
• Providing direct nursing care in alignment with established policies and procedures.
• Implementing and monitoring patient care plans and documenting patient conditions accurately.
• Serving as the primary coordinator for multidisciplinary patient care.
• Carrying out physician and nursing orders diligently.
• Assessing and planning for patient discharge in coordination with team members.
• Identifying and addressing the diverse needs of patients, ensuring individualized care.
• Delegating tasks to other nursing personnel based on their qualifications.
• Participating actively in daily interdisciplinary patient rounds.
• Maintaining knowledge of nursing standards and ethics as outlined by the ANA.
• Developing and revising personalized care plans as needed.
• Engaging in professional development activities beyond direct patient care.

Qualifications:
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Associate degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in Connecticut.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities.
