Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Location: Hyannis, MA
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 36 hours per week | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Pay Range: $53 – $63 per hour

Position Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for an exciting job in Hyannis, MA.

Responsibilities
• Deliver comprehensive critical care using the nursing process and maintain complete, accurate clinical documentation.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs throughout their ICU stay, including discharge planning.
• Develop and communicate individualized plans of care based on patient assessments.
• Serve as charge nurse when required, demonstrating effective leadership skills.
• Utilize electronic health records and nursing informatics efficiently.
• Act as a clinical resource to staff, supporting patient care, orientation, and education.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance patient care and evaluating outcomes.
• Follow all safety protocols, including blood and body fluid policies.
• Maintain ongoing professional development, including documenting continuing education.
• Remain current on clinical techniques, standards, and regulatory guidelines relevant to critical care.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and represent the organization professionally in all interactions.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Active Massachusetts RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Prior ICU/critical care experience.
• Successful completion of pharmacology and basic arrhythmia competency assessments.
• ACLS certification.

Preferred:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
