Hartford Hospital is actively seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for our Critical Care Nursing Units. Your expertise is welcomed and encouraged!
This role is in the Medicine Intensive Care Unit, a state-of-the-art 16-bed unit that delivers care to patients with diverse, complex medical issues using advanced technologies and devices like CRRT and ECMO. Patients may present with respiratory failure, gastrointestinal bleeding, liver and kidney injuries, sepsis, and drug or alcohol withdrawal. The unit is supervised by a Critical Care Pulmonologist and staffed 24/7 with a dedicated team of Physician Assistants and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses.

Qualifications
Qualifications
• Active Connecticut RN License.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN required).
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association required before hire date.
• Minimum one year of acute care Registered Nurse experience strongly preferred.
• In exceptional circumstances, experienced RNs with an ADN/ASN pursuing a BSN or MSN may be considered.
• Graduate Nurses are encouraged to apply through the Critical Care Graduate Nurse Program.
