Position Type: Contract | Travel or Local
Compensation
• Traveler Rate: Up to $2,600/week
• Local Rate:$2,173/week
Shift & Schedule
• Shifts: Days or Nights available
• Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts (12.5-hour shifts)
• Hours per Week: 34.5 hours
• Weekends: Every other weekend required
• Break: 1-hour lunch
Job Summary
A healthcare facility is seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses to deliver high-quality, critical care services. The RN will manage complex patient conditions, perform advanced clinical procedures, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced ICU environment.
Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Perform detailed patient assessments and continuous monitoring
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and conscious sedation per protocol
• Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy independently
• Respond effectively to emergencies and changes in patient condition
• Accurately document patient care in accordance with hospital standards
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and quality standards
• Educate patients and families as appropriate
• Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Skills & Experience
• Minimum 2 years of Critical Care (ICU) experience
• Minimum 2 years of Conscious Sedation experience
• Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
Education
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program
(BSN preferred)
Certifications & Licensure (Required)
• Active New York State RN License
• Primary Source Verification via NYSED
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
