INTENSIVE CARE
Job Title: RN – Intensive Care Unit
Rate: Up to $2450.00 weekly
Location: Worcester, MA
Night Shift (12H) - Float - EOW, EOH
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Experience
• One (1) to three (3) years in specialty required.
• Previous ICU experience required.
• EPIC experience preferred.
• At least (3) three years of ICU experience, prefer (5) five years or more in a level 1 Trauma facility.
Licenses/Certifications
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
• AHA BLS certification required.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitoring Vital Signs: Regularly check and record vital signs such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation to ensure patient stability.
• Administering Medications: Provide prescribed medications and treatments as per doctor's orders, ensuring accurate dosing and administration.
• Emergency Response: Respond quickly to life-threatening situations, including administering medications and initiating life support measures.
• Collaboration with Healthcare Team: Work closely with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and the patient's family to develop and implement a comprehensive care plan.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, treatments, and progress, which are essential for medical documentation and billing purposes.
• Patient Advocacy: Advocate for the patient's needs and rights, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care and support.
