Description Location: UCHealth Highlands Ranch Med Ctr - Highlands Ranch, CO Department: Internal Medicine HRH MOB II Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $32.01 - $49.62 / hour (dependent on relevant experience) This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option. Summary: As a Registered Nurse in our Internal Medicine department, you will provide direct patient care in a medical/physician office setting. You will utilize the nursing process aligned with the organization’s standards and policies to optimize patient outcomes. Responsibilities: • Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on comprehensive patient assessments. • Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions effectively. • Collaborate across disciplines to ensure coordinated patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and addressing spiritual/psychosocial support needs. • Assess and meet the educational needs of patients and families, providing tailored information according to their circumstances. • Delegate patient care tasks to ancillary personnel and may mentor student nurses and new staff. • Utilize critical thinking skills and independent judgment while thriving in a fast-paced environment. Requirements: • Minimum Required Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred. • Licensure/Certification: State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and relevant certifications as per position requirements. • Experience: A minimum of 6 months of nursing experience is required.
