Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology in Baltimore, MD

Duties • Work primarily in the Interventional Radiology department, with potential float between UMH and GSH IR departments. • Participate in on-call duties, weekends, and holidays on a voluntary basis. • Provide patient care for adults and geriatrics in a specialized setting. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more. • Perform special procedures as required, including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations and vascular studies. Skills • Proficiency in using Cerner charting system is preferred. • Required certifications: ACLS and BLS. • Preferred experience in diagnostic cardiac cath lab, electrophysiology (EP) lab, and interventional cardiac cath lab. • Skills in angioplasty, central venous access/port placement, and isolation precautions/PPE are advantageous. Experience • Minimum of 2 years of experience required. • Previous charge experience is beneficial. • Experience in teaching hospitals, community hospitals, LTAC, and trauma levels I and II is advantageous but not required. • First-time travelers are accepted. • Travel experience is not required.
