Eligibility for benefits may vary by location. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Interventional Radiology Nurse to join our team, ensuring high-quality care for patients. Job Summary and Qualifications This role requires being on call at least 7 times a month, including rotating weekends, and being within a 30-minute drive to the hospital. The typical schedule consists of 4/10 hour shifts from Monday to Friday for procedures. As an Interventional Radiology Nurse, you will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing minimally invasive image-guided procedures. You will collaborate closely with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and efficient patient care. Key Responsibilities: • Assist with patient care before, during, and after procedures in the Interventional Radiology suite. • Monitor patient vitals and administer sedation as needed. • Educate patients and families about procedures and recovery processes. • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety protocols. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. • Prepare medications and assist in patient transport. • Experience in a strong team environment is preferred. Qualifications: • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment. • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment. • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license. • Registered Nurse Diploma. • Experience in Critical Care or Sedation preferred.
