Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology - Travel - (IR RN - VIR RN)
StartDate: 1/12/2026 Available Shifts: 9 D/N/E Pay Rate: $2437.00 - $2861.00

The RN-Radiology Sedation Infusion Nurse provides airway management, monitoring of sedated patients, and support services in collaboration with physicians, NP, or PA as well as radiology and nursing staff. Knowledge of diagnostic radiology procedures to maintain a safe diagnostic radiology environment responsible for providing nursing care, treatments, and services. Mus be able to travel between the main hospital and off-site CHKD locations. All RNs are required to cross-train between sedation and infusion services. The position requires Saturday rotations. Performs a wide variety of patient care activities, accommodative services, and administrative functions to support the medical care of patients and families. Plans, provides, and monitors specific patient needs following established polices, procedures and regulations. Participates in on going quality assurance, maintains regulatory requirements, and assists in establishing and updating applicable policies

Required Qualifications
Registered Nurse, Interventional Radiology Experience: 2 years Licenses: RN(Compact Accepted) Certifications: ACLS; PALS; BLS administration of moderate (conscious) sedation drugs. Critical thinking and the early detection of changes in vital signs are key abilities for this candidate
FLU required, no exemptions

Preferred Qualifications
Sedation Certification is a plus.
