This contract opportunity is for an experienced Registered Nurse skilled in Interventional Radiology and Pain Management, located in Cicero, IL. The position offers a structured schedule with five 8-hour day shifts, primarily from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, providing a consistent work routine. The role includes participation in an on-call rotation Monday through Friday overnight and 24-hour coverage on weekends and holidays, ensuring comprehensive patient care. Travel nurses must be prepared to float within the Radiology and Pain departments as required, supporting a Level 1 Trauma Center environment. Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Minimum of 2 years’ nursing experience in Interventional Radiology or Pain Management • Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications • Comfortable wearing lead aprons as part of safety protocols • Ability to work with Cerner charting system • Local candidates within 75 miles preferred; pending licenses not accepted • Willingness to participate in mandatory floating within department scope Location Highlights: Cicero, IL, is a vibrant suburban community with easy access to Chicago’s extensive cultural and recreational amenities.
