Key Responsibilities: • Operate complex stationary and mobile diagnostic imaging equipment during invasive procedures • Assist physicians during interventional radiology and catheterization lab cases • Educate and prepare patients regarding procedures, medications, and potential biological effects to ease anxiety • Provide post-procedure recovery care, especially for deep organ biopsies and angiographic interventions • Complete routine and priority tasks efficiently within established departmental time frames Qualifications & Experience: • Valid California RN license required • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications • Minimum of 3 years recent relevant RN experience with a strong preference for Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab • Proven experience in post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) or recovery settings, particularly with deep organ and angiographic cases • Ability to manage varied call schedules, including nights and rotating weekends (if applicable) Schedule: • Day shift, Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM • Four 10-hour shifts per week • No weekend or overnight call This contract is ideal for a skilled IR RN looking to provide specialized nursing care in a fast-paced but stable environment.
