This opportunity is for a Registered Nurse with experience in Interventional Radiology, located in Denver, CO. The role involves working 36 hours per week, scheduled as four nine-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a rotating day off. The position requires participation in a rotating on-call schedule, including weeknight calls from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM and 24-hour calls on weekends. Nurses must be willing to float between several regional locations as needed, with advance notice provided. Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in Interventional Radiology • Current ACLS and BLS certifications • Proficient with IV insertion and procedural sedation • Comfortable managing 6-8 adult and geriatric patients per day, including inpatient and outpatient procedures • Familiar with EPIC electronic medical records system • Ability to maintain a 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratio • Willingness to participate in rotating call schedules and float among nearby sites Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality nursing care during Interventional Radiology procedures • Monitor patient recovery, excluding phase 1 anesthesia recovery which is managed by PACU staff • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and comfort • Participate in on-call rotations supporting patient needs outside of regular shift hours Location Overview: Denver, CO, offers a dynamic urban lifestyle set against the stunning backdrop of the Rocky Mountains.
