Key Responsibilities:
• Perform multiple nursing roles including circulator, scrub technologist, monitor tech, and moderate sedation RN, adapting seamlessly between tasks.
• Administer medications such as anticoagulants and vasoactive agents while maintaining sterile techniques during procedures.
• Anticipate interventionalist needs and ensure rapid recognition and response to complications including arrhythmias, bleeding, and adverse contrast reactions.
• Collaborate to manage contrast allergies, confirm ASA classification, and provide sedation monitoring per protocols.
• Document procedural data accurately and support team efficiency through supply management and room turnover.
• Participate in patient preparation, verification, and post-procedure care including sheath removal and vascular access.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in critical care, emergency, cath lab, or interventional radiology; three years preferred.
• Current Oregon RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications required; specialty certifications (RCIS, NIH Stroke Scale) a plus.
• Proficient with infusion pumps, monitoring equipment, and healthcare IT systems.
• Ability to provide culturally competent care; bilingual English-Spanish speakers preferred.
