Registered Nurse - Providence, Rhode Island Verovian Nursing Agency is looking for an experienced and competent registered nurse to join a team of healthcare professionals in Rhode Island, specifically in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. As a full-time temporary practitioner, the selected candidate will serve as a liaison between upper leadership and clinical care, assuming the role of overseeing patient flow and care operations, while also managing and monitoring the facility's staff nurses. Job specification Candidate requirements Job specification • Provides leadership and guidance to nursing staff, to ensure smooth operations and promote a positive work environment. • Manage staffing and scheduling, and may participate in hiring and evaluating nurses. • Coordinate training and education for nursing staff to enhance their knowledge and skills. • Maintain quality patient care by collaborating with healthcare professionals and monitoring compliance. • Coordinate the nursing team to ensure efficient and effective patient care. • Coordinating and managing resources, and collaborating with other departments to meet patient care needs. • Facilitate teamwork, collaboration, and coordination to optimize patient outcomes. • Capable of serving as a role model and advocate for the nursing profession. • Plans and achieves objectives based on experience and judgment. Candidate requirements • An up-to-date resume. • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree • A minimum of 3-7 years of experience is required. • An active, valid registered nurse license within the jurisdictional region is required. • A valid NRP, ACLS & BLS Certification is Required. • Other certifications, such as PALS, are preferred but not required. • Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role is a mandatory requirement. • Must have work authorization. • Must be a US citizen. • Availability to work on alternate holidays and weekends is a requirement. • Effective communication skills, an adaptable personality, a strong disposition, and reliability are required.
