
Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery, Night Shift in Bellaire, TX

Job Summary
We are actively seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to become part of our Labor & Delivery team at our Greater Heights Magnet Hospital. This is a full-time night shift position from 7pm to 7am.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:
• Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing
• Certification in Basic Life Support
• Additional certifications may be required based on specific nursing unit requirements.
Experience / Knowledge / Skills:
• RN I
• RN II = 1-3 years
• RN III = 3-10 years
• RN IV = 10+ years
Principal Accountabilities
• Deliver safe, high-quality care to patients, tailored to their age and needs.
• Coordinate nursing care planning with an interdisciplinary team and make informed clinical decisions.
• Collaborate with and guide the healthcare team towards achieving positive patient outcomes.
• Develop and implement discharge or transfer plans.
• Engage in the continuous evaluation of care programs to enhance patient-centered outcomes.
• Address the unique needs of each patient while optimizing their experience throughout their care journey.
• Comply with all regulations and standards established by the Texas Board of Nursing.
• Ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors by adhering to Memorial Hermann's policies and budgetary standards.
• Advance your professional growth by fulfilling continuing education and skills competency requirements; support department goals for organizational success; serve as a mentor to less experienced staff.
• Exemplify our commitment to caring for every community member by providing compassionate, personalized experiences. Uphold Memorial Hermann's service standards to deliver safe, caring, and efficient experiences for patients and colleagues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
