Job Description
**Overview:**
Spencer Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and caring Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient outcomes. **Responsibilities:**
• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. * Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members. * Demonstrate flexibility, multitasking, and comfort with technological systems. * Participate in mandatory in-service training and continuing education to stay current with best practices and hospital policies. * Work a rotating schedule, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. **Qualifications:**
• Minimum of 1 year Med/Surg experience
• Previous Labor & Delivery experience required
• IA RN license or compact state
• BLS and ACLS certification required - inhouse training available
• NRP certification required upon hire or within 6 months of hire
