Job Summary and Qualifications:
As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC), you will be pivotal in ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care during your shift. You will oversee nursing care, serve as a resource for staff, and embody the values of our organization to enhance patient experiences and clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate smooth admission and discharge processes, ensuring efficient patient flow.
• Collaborate with the management team to assess and improve the quality of care.
• Foster a teamwork environment to enhance patient outcomes and service.
• Promote patient-first philosophies and engage in service recovery as needed.
• Participate in nursing strategies to boost employee engagement and satisfaction.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and managing staff performance.
• Manage staff scheduling according to patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Support inventory control and management of supplies and equipment.
Qualifications:
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification is a must.
• Neonate Resuscitation certification required within 90 days of starting.
• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with an Associate's Degree; BSN within 24 months of hire.
• Advanced or Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required within the first year of employment.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in Labor & Delivery.
